Welcome to the second issue of the Rebel Regiment Newsletter! We had an exciting week last week with our trip to Fitzgerald to support the football team and to perform our halftime show. It was hot again, so hot in fact that one of the Fitzgerald band members had to be treated by EMS due to the heat. Thankfully, our boosters were once again, on top of things and had plenty of ice cold bottled water and snacks for the Rebel Regiment members, so everyone stayed hydrated and cool. A big thank you goes out to all the chaperones and parents who helped out at the game, transported coolers, distributed snacks, and did all of the many things that make the night an enjoyable and productive experience for the band members.
We have a busy week this week, and there is a middle school game on Thursday the 15th, at home, against Brooks, so workers will be needed in the concession stand. Friday we play Brooks county at home, so the concession stand will need help Friday as well.
We are less than two weeks away from the Battle on the Border competition at Lowndes County High School. Please mark your calendars and come out and support the Rebel Regiment at this competition. There will be more info on the competition, which is October 24th, in next weeks newsletter.
Dates and Times
We will have after school practice Wednesday (10/14) at our regular time. The Middle School Band will practice with us for their performance at the Brooks Co Game.
Video System Updated
 We are proud to announce that we now offer Rebel Regiment videos in High Definition! We are in the process of changing all of our videos over to the new format and all future performances will be filmed in High Def. You will see an immediate improvement in video quality, even in full screen, however a broadband connection will be required to view these videos.
