Berrien High School Rebel Regiment

The Rebel Regiment had one busy week last week and we have another busy week this week, so lets get right into the newsletter!  Sorry this is a more abbreviated edition, but it's been a busy weekend!

Please, Please, Please do not forget that we have a Band Boosters Meeting tomorrow night (Tuesday, the 27th) at 7:00 PM in the Band Room at BHS.  If you can attend, please come!  We have lots of planning to do and lots to talk about.

We will depart for the Sweet Potato parade at 9:30 on Saturday morning.  The parade will start at 11:00.  We should arrive home around 1:00 pm.  Parents who wish to check their child off the buses should go to the end of the parade route (Around the new Harveys store on HWY 129.)

Battle on the Border Results

The Rebel Regiment went to the finals at the 2009 Battle on the Border in Lowndes County!  We won two armloads of trophies and finished 6th overall.  There are photos uploading to the gallery now and there will be video available sometime tomorrow of both of our performances at the competition.

Thanks to all of the band members for giving 110% on the field, for how professionaly they all conducted themselves during a very long day, and for giving us such a great and memorable performance!

Thank you to the Directors, Boosters, Chaperones, Bus Drivers, Parents, Friends and Supporters for all of your help and dedication!!!!

New Rebel Regiment Mobile Site
The Rebel Regiment website is becoming iPhone and Blackberry friendly.  We are still working out some issues, but when you visit our site on your iPhone, iPod Touch, or Blackberry, you will find an easier to navigate site.  If you have an iPhone and would like to help with troubleshooting the new mobile site, please email me here.
 

The Regiment will be travelling to Thomasville this Friday night to support our football team.  As Mr. Denison stated above, we will be leaving at 5:00 PM from BHS and the Boosters will be feeding the band 3rd quarter.

I promise that we will have all of the specific awards earned at the Battle On The Border competition in next weeks newsletter,  we brought home 8 or 9 trophies!  There are a bunch of pictures in the photo gallery and our preliminary performance is in the videos section.
